Glenkeen hosted their annual open day which was created in a 70’s theme. The goal for the theme day was to show how important Arts can be for our residents.
The ‘proof of the pudding’ was shown by us doing our Crafts in the morning where some residents got to decorate their own canvas to decorate their room. After lunch we had our entertainment man come in and play all of our residents favourite songs.
Our staff members all put in an amazing effort to dress up as 70’s theme people -from hippie to Saturday Night Fever to denim on denim and this made the day all the more enjoyable. We had a few boogies and a tasty buffet after it and we concluded with our raffle!
All residents, staff and families had a brilliant time and we are already excited for next year!
