We were delighted to celebrate our Length of Service Awards on Thursday 2ndJune. It had been 5 years since our last Length of Service Awards so many of our staff had achieved new milestones in that time.

The event was organised by Elaine McCann, Human Resource Manager and Louise Montgomery, Corporate Services Manager and was held in Massereene Golf Club. Staff and managers gathered to celebrate the amazing achievements of those receiving their awards.
Eddie Kerr, Managing Director Hutchinson Care Homes commented: “At a time when health and social care is facing so much uncertainty it is a real joy to be able to celebrate the consistency of the longevity represented within this staff group. With over 100 staff who have 10 or more years service the experience and skills this represents is something of a great asset to the company and the care homes. We celebrate all our staff but especially those with all this service who make us what we are and offer the assurance that care recipients and their families need.”
We had the following numbers receiving awards;
- 42 staff achieved 10 Years’ Service
- 27 staff achieved 15 Years’ Service
- 16 staff achieved 20 Years’ Service
- 10 staff achieved 25 Years’ Service
- 8 staff achieved 30+ Years’ Service
Pauline Shepherd, CEO of IHCP presented the awards to everyone and all of the staff received a certificate and those with 20 plus years’ service also received a plaque to commemorate their service.
