Busy Few Months at Drummaul House

It’s been a busy few months at Drummaul House in Randalstown despite lockdown. We painted our own rainbow to brighten up the garden and proudly displayed it.

And on the same subject we helped Anne to write a letter to Boris Johnston himself to tell him about her frustrations during the lockdown… no response to date !

We had a Father’s Day treat for the men with scones with cream and jam washed down with no alcohol Becks Blue lager and the men settled down to watch an epic Davy Crockett movie.

After composing her letter to Boris Anne kept busy by polishing some of her old brass that her family left in for her….and a great job she did too!

The residents have started a gardening club during the lockdown and you can see some of them working hard with their ‘green fingers’.

Finally we had a special celebration as resident Isobel turned 100 and received a telegram from the queen….Happy Birthday Isobel !
