A BIG THANKS to Templepatrick Retirement Group from Everyone at Clonlee for their Kind Gesture

We all had a great day when Templepatrick Retirement Group came to visit and present Clonlee residents with a display of beautiful knitted knee blankets.
The retirement group are a small group whose average age would be 75-80 yrs old and they meet once a month in the parish hall in Templepatrick.
They love to help others in the community and this time it was the turn of Clonlee and  they hope that the knee blankets are useful to keep out residents warm and cosy

Care Assistant Laura  welcomed Roberta McCullough, Margaret Beattie and Marilyn Kennedy on behalf of the residents and thanked them for their thoughtfulness and beautiful gifts.

In other news the visitors coming to spread Christmas cheer did not stop there as we welcomed the ladies from St Judes Church. The residents were thrilled to hear the jolly ladies singing the old favourite Christmas Carols. Even a few of the staff joined in as well when they heard the singing and everyone is looking forward to more visitors and singing the old favourite Christmas carols.
