Glenkeen House Celebrate 70 years of Her Majesty the Queen!

On the 5^th June 2022 Queen Elizabeth ll was 70 years on the throne! The Glenkeen team celebrated this wonderful milestone with their families and staff members.

Our activity therapist Michaela, did a great job again decorating the building for this special day.

As well as looking at pictures of the Queen, we learnt some interesting facts about the Queen. Such as, the Queen’s first solo public engagement was on the 21^st April 1942, her 16^th  birthday, she inspected the Grenadier Guards at Windsor Castle!

Everyone enjoyed the day by having their own little tea party with cakes, buns and crisps and looking at pictures of Queen Elizabeth ll.
