Clonlee Knee Rugs The Bee’s Knees Say The Residents

The Bee’s Knees was the overwhelming opinion of the residents when they took receipt of a gift of knee rugs.
Eileen was delighted to see her sister and friends from the Keelees Crochet and Knitting Club. Maureen McClean, Jean Mc Fadden and Elizabeth Flynn told us that they meet in Ballymena Community Centre every month and spent the time knitting and crocheting, but mainly eating wee buns and having a good old chat.
The result was lots of knee rugs with all the colours of the rainbow. Eileen said it was a very thoughtful gift and thanked the ladies for all their hard work.
