There’s Nothing A Cupcake and a Cuppa at Drummaul House Can’t Solve
We were delighted when Peggy Eaton from Irons Bakery in Ballymena came to visit us and share her skills with us on a delightful afternoon we had a few cupcakes making demonstrations to suit the seasons.
A BIG thank you to Peggy Eaton for sharing her skills ans supplying the ingredients – come back soon Peggy the cupcakes were delicious!
In other news we are always delighted to welcome Jason who is a regular visitor to the home. Jason writes poetry using the stories the residents tell him about their lives and he subsequently gives them the poem as a gift which will also be displayed in a gallery in Belfast. As part of the reminiscence programme at Drummaul the residents also looking through a mixture of their own pictures and special items relatives brought in from home. After getting to know the residents Jason brings in items that he thinks the residents would find interesting.
