December has Been a Busy Month at Ballyclare But Fabulous Fun
Now we all know that December is a busy month for everyone and that also is the case at Ballyclare Nursing Home as we welcomed visitors a plenty.
Ballyclare Primary School visited us and we had a lovely morning with the children singing Christmas carols – what amazing voices and our residents enjoyed and sang along.
The Way Church in Ballyclare joined us and sang Christmas carols and when finished they gave out little books and a bag with biscuits in it. The residents thoroughly enjoyed it and were delighted with their gifts which were greatly appreciated.
Later on we all enjoyed the ‘Silent Disco’ and had a fantastic afternoon- everyone thought it was amazing as even the residents in bed could partake in this with the head phones.
Finally for all the football fans in the home we had a visit from Ballyclare Comrades FC and the players walked around the home and chatted to our residents and had a right old laugh. At the end of the visit the club presented lovely gifts to the home.
A BIG THANKS to all our visitors for joining us and for their thoughtfulness!
