Busy Time for Residents at Ballyclare

It’s been all go at Ballyclare Nursing Home recently as the residents and staff have been involved in lots of activities inside and out.
Lately everyone has been enjoying the odd good day out around the house whilst enjoying the garden and picking some flowers for our harvest that was carried out by the Reverend Colin Campbell playing his guitar. We all participate in decorating the home for the harvest and our home grown leek was used for leek and potato soup which was enjoyed by our residents.
We further enjoyed our regular exercises, ball games and crafting is always popular and ongoing. Later in October we decorated and entertained for Halloween. As we approach Remembrance Sunday we made our poppies to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
