Well Done to Antrim Care Home’s Sinead for Fundraising Efforts for Macmillan Cancer and Little Princess Trust
Sinead, a valued member of staff here at Antrim Care Home, sadly lost her mother to Cancer. She wanted to do something to make a difference and so decided to begin fundraising for the Macmillan unit where her mother was so wonderfully cared for.
Not only was Macmillan to benefit from Sinead’s fundraising, but also the Little Princess Trust. Sinead had been growing her hair and would have it all cut, donating her hair to make wigs for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Sinead held a charity evening in the Ramble Inn for her late mother’s 60th birthday, at which over 100 people attended to help raise funds for her cause and after online and cash donations were counted, Sinead was over the moon to be able to finally present a cheque of £2,330 to HSCHT Palliative Care
We feel proud and privileged to know Sinead and know her work will have made a huge impact.
