Antrim Care Home Welcomes Ulster University Paramedic Students Courtney and Michael
The Ulster University are running their first ever paramedic degree course and Antrim Care Home is the first placement for new students Courtney and Michael
This three year full time course will provide students with the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours necessary to become a competent and confident paramedic who provides safe person centred care.
Antrim Care Home was selected as it has a strong link with the hospitals due to the Intermediary Care unit in the home.
Here’s Courtney and Michael with Antrim Care Home staff nurses Diana and Bogdan who were delighted to have them join them as part of their placement and wished them every success.
