Hutchinson Care Home Staff Star at Race For Life Muddy 5K

It was with fear combined with excitement as the staff from Hutchinson Homes prepared to take part in the Race for Life which took place at Ormeau Park in Belfast, Saturday 1st September. Race for Life Muddy 5k is a muddy obstacle course that women of any ability can climb over, crawl under and charge through and raise funds for life saving research cancer UK.

So, with her team of 18 eager girls, Pepsi, Manager of Clonlee, set off for Belfast commenting:

“This is totally out of my comfort zone but we are all up for the challenge. After a really fun, dirty, muddy, obstacle race the girls felt so delighted to see the finishing line. Everyone remarked on the excitement and fun of the event. Proud…self achievement….muddy but very challenged…pleased to be able to raise money for a worthwhile cause….absolutely delighted.”
