Glenkeen Resident Tommy Lindsay Takes a Trip Down Memory Lane to The Black Bull
Glenkeen resident Tommy Lindsay was taken out for the day by our activity therapist and was reunited with his old friends in his old local bar. Tommy had a chance to see the plaque dedicated to him in his old local bar, The Black Bull in Randalstown (Laverty’s).
A man had given this plaque to Tommy for his retirement in Masserene Hospital which came all the way from America. Tommy was also widely known throughout the north for his love for Country Western Music and played the guitar and sang in many bars around the country, including this bar, The Black Bull.
Tommy was also very well known for his love for whiskey which is what he was greeted with today as soon as he walked in. Cheers for Tommy!
