Christmas Festive Spirit in Abundance at Glenkeen!
Leading up to the Christmas week, Michalea decorated the home in Christmas decorations to get our lovely staff and residents in the Christmas spirit.
Ho Ho Ho! Santa arrived to Glenkeen to speak to all our residents and to give them pressies! Everyone smiled at the camera for a selfie with Santa!
Staff ditched the uniforms and came to work in Christmas costumes such as, Christmas tree, Mrs Claus, snowman and Mary and Joseph! Everyone took part which was great.
Also Michalea organised for a singer to come in and sing some popular Christmas songs. Everyone danced their jingle bells off to the music!
It was also our activity therapist Michalea’s birthday on the 21st December! She received a lovely birthday cake and pressies from the Glenkeen family.
