Covid Update – Further Easing- February 2022
In line with government and PHA guidelines we are moving to stage 3 of the pathway, which is ‘The Further Easing’ stage.
We now aim to host visits between 10am and 7pm but please check locally with the individual homes to ensure they are currently open for visits and to check their visiting hours.
- Visits are limited to persons from up to two households per day (these may be separate visits).
- Children are allowed to visit but the adult is responsible for their supervision and insuring all IPC measures are followed (the child will be included in visitor numbers).
- Close physical contact will be allowed, including brief hugging and hand holding. Aprons and masks must be worn.
- All visitors must continue to pre-book their visit with the home.
While visiting screens are no longer required, if a visitor would prefer to have this extra measure in place this can be arranged as resources allow (There are a limited number of screens available at any time and they may already be in use elsewhere. Staff will always seek to meet this need but it should be understood that there is a limit to such requests).
