Holey Knitters Keep Calm and Cast On for Clonlee

There was a very warm welcome when the Holey Knitters from All Saints Church Antrim presented Clonlee with a large box of knitter knee blankets, fiddler muffs and activity knee blankets.
Nurse Manager Pepsi Latta received the gift from Sylvia Barton and her helpers, Doreen, Moira and Louise.
The Holey Knitters meet each Monday night in All Saints church hall in Antrim and are always looking for new members to share their skill and knowledge of knitting.
They have provided the Prem Unit in the hospital with much needed items and Clonlee with knitted knee blankets, fiddler muffs and activity knee blankets. Their next project is to knit items for the Shoe Box appeal next April. Sylvia said she has tried to teach the men in the group to knit but it is an on going project so they have the task of making the tea and coffee while the ladies knit and chat.
A BIG THANK YOU to Sylvia and her knitters from Clonlee and your thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated.
