The Directors of Hutchinson Care Homes, have issued a ‘Statement of Assurance’.
The Directors of Hutchinson Care Homes, have issued a ‘Statement of Assurance’ in the light of recent media coverage of the health and social care sector. They have made this statement to endorse and restate the company commitment to continuous improvement and its ability for adapting, changing and considering the differing needs of all service users. As a company Hutchinson Care Homes Staff have been saddened by many of the reports being shared and the impact of this has been widely felt in our teams.
Speaking on behalf of the Directors, Eddy Kerr, Group Operations Manager, said, “We value all our staff and have great admiration for all they do in what are very often challenging situations. The health and social care workforce throughout Northern Ireland succeeds daily in caring for vulnerable and older people. Our staff contribute significantly to this. Where service expectations have not been realised and are identified as needing attention it’s right that they are highlighted and rectified. We at Hutchinson Care Homes aim to do this as a matter of course at all times.”
At Hutchinson Care Homes we welcome people to our homes on a daily basis and are happy to show prospective residents and their families around our homes at anytime. Access to facilities, managers and staff is something we pride ourselves in and where people may have questions about any aspect of care services or their personal requirements we are here to help.
Eddy further said, “To our current residents and families we want you to rest assured and know that you’re in good hands.”
