Resumption of visits to care homes

The announcement yesterday Tuesday 30th June by the Minister for Health, stating that visits in care homes can be recommenced in specific circumstances and with clear guidance in place has been very welcome and as a group Hutchinson Care Homes are reviewing the guidance to ensure compliance and safety of all can be achieved.

To this end we are reviewing the guidance issued and over the next 72 hours by Friday 3rd July we plan to issue an initial guidance document for everyone , visitors, residents and staff which will explain how we plan to recommence visits in each of our homes.

We would ask you all to bear with us as we seek to find a way to safely facilitate visits and capitalize on contact with your family member at this time.
