Resumption of Visits to Care Homes – Update Monday 6th July

It is our intention to respond appropriately to the guidance issued to care homes as of Friday 3rd July 2020 and reopen all our facilities at the earliest possible opportunity. The guidance is effective from 6th July 2020 and we have been working hard to ensure our homes are ready to fully comply with the guidance for all such visits.

We are aiming to complete all our risk assessments, strategy documents and training of staff by 9th July and be fully open to receiving visitors as soon as possible after that time. Full details will be issued to all Next of Kins regarding the system developed and put in place as soon as they are finalized.

With regards to making contact to arrange or discuss the visiting approach we plan to introduce, please do not make contact until the guidance has been issued. Virtual visits will remain in place and as per the guidance these remain the preferred option in the short term. We would ask you to be patient and allow us time to fully implement the required guidance advice over the next few days.
